The Swan and the Hunter
Once upon a time, in a beautiful forest filled with tall trees and shining lakes, there lived a group of swans. They spent their days flying across the sky, swimming in clear water, and enjoying the peaceful beauty of nature. Among them was a wise swan who always advised the others to stay careful and alert.
Not far from the lake lived a hunter. He was skilled at catching birds and animals. Every day he wandered through the forest looking for prey. One morning, while walking quietly near the lake, the hunter saw the group of swans resting under a large tree.
The hunter was delighted to see so many birds together. He thought it would be easy to capture them all at once. So he quietly spread a strong net on the ground under the tree and hid nearby, waiting patiently for the right moment.
After some time, the swans flew down from the lake and began walking around the tree in search of food. Without noticing the hidden danger, they stepped onto the net. Suddenly, the net tightened around them, trapping them all together.
The swans were shocked and frightened. They tried to escape, but the net was strong and tightly woven. The more they struggled individually, the more tangled they became.
Seeing this, the wise swan spoke calmly. “Do not panic,” he said. “If we all try to escape separately, we will fail. But if we work together and fly at the same time, we might be able to lift the net.”
The other swans trusted the wise swan and followed his advice. They waited for the right moment. When the wise swan gave the signal, they all flapped their wings together with great strength.
Slowly, the net began to lift from the ground. The swans kept flying upward with the net still wrapped around them. Soon they rose high into the sky and flew away from the forest.
Meanwhile, the hunter came running to collect his catch. But when he reached the tree, he was shocked to see the net gone and the swans flying far away in the sky. He could only watch helplessly as his plan failed.
The swans continued flying until they reached a distant place where their friend, a clever mouse, lived. The mouse was known for his sharp teeth and kind heart. When the swans landed near his home, he quickly came out to see what had happened.
After hearing the story, the mouse immediately began cutting the threads of the net with his strong teeth. One by one, he carefully freed all the swans.
The swans thanked the mouse for his help and kindness. They also thanked the wise swan whose clever thinking had saved them from the hunter’s trap.
After being freed, the swans promised to always remain united and listen to wise advice. They realized that their strength was not just in their wings but in their unity and cooperation.
From that day onward, the swans became even more careful while flying and landing in unknown places. They never forgot the lesson they had learned from the dangerous encounter with the hunter.
The hunter, on the other hand, returned home disappointed. He had learned that clever animals working together could easily defeat even the most carefully planned traps.
The story of the swans spread throughout the forest. Animals often told it to remind one another of the power of unity and wisdom. Even the smallest creature, like the mouse, could play an important role in helping others.
The swans continued living peacefully near their lake, always flying together and protecting one another. Their friendship and teamwork became an example for all the creatures in the forest.
Moral of the Story: Unity and cooperation can overcome even the greatest danger.
