🦊 The Story of the Blue Jackal 🦊

Long ago, in a dense forest filled with tall trees and wandering animals, there lived a hungry jackal named Chandar. Chandar was clever but very greedy. Most of the time he struggled to find enough food in the forest.

One evening, driven by hunger, Chandar decided to sneak into a nearby village in search of food. He quietly walked through narrow streets, hoping to find scraps or leftovers.

But the moment the village dogs saw him, they began barking loudly.

Within seconds, a pack of angry dogs started chasing him. Terrified, Chandar ran as fast as he could through the streets. He looked left and right, searching desperately for a place to hide.

Suddenly, while running blindly, he fell into a large tub filled with blue dye that was kept outside a washerman's house.

The dogs ran past him without noticing.

After waiting for a while, Chandar slowly climbed out of the tub. His body was completely soaked with bright blue dye.

He looked at his reflection in a puddle of water and was shocked.

“What has happened to me?” he wondered.

His entire body had turned deep blue. No animal in the forest had ever seen such a creature before.

At first, Chandar felt frightened. But soon a clever idea came to his mind.

“Perhaps I can use this strange color to my advantage,” he thought.

He returned to the forest confidently.

When the animals saw the blue-colored creature approaching, they were terrified. The deer ran away, the monkeys jumped onto trees, and even the powerful tiger stepped back cautiously.

None of them had ever seen such a mysterious animal.

The lion, who was the king of the forest, asked nervously, “Who are you? What kind of creature are you?”

Chandar realized this was his chance.

In a deep voice, he replied, “Do not be afraid. I have been sent by the gods to rule over this forest and protect all its animals. My special blue color proves that I am no ordinary creature.”

The animals looked at each other in amazement.

If the gods had truly sent him, they thought, then he must be their new king.

Even the lion and tiger bowed their heads before the mysterious blue jackal.

From that day onward, Chandar became the ruler of the forest. The animals obeyed his orders and brought him food every day. He enjoyed a life of luxury that he had never imagined before.

However, Chandar had one fear. He knew that if the other jackals in the forest recognized his voice or behavior, his secret would be revealed.

So he ordered all jackals to stay far away from the royal court.

Days passed, and Chandar grew more arrogant. Surrounded by respect and comfort, he began to believe that he truly deserved to be king.

One night, while the moon shone brightly over the forest, a group of jackals in the distance began to howl.

The sound was familiar and powerful.

Chandar tried to ignore it at first. But the instinct of a jackal is difficult to control.

Without thinking, he lifted his head toward the moon and began to howl loudly along with them.

The moment the animals heard his howl, they were shocked.

The lion said angrily, “That is the voice of a jackal!”

The tiger growled, “We have been fooled!”

The animals suddenly realized that the strange blue creature was nothing but an ordinary jackal who had tricked them.

Furious at the deception, the lion and tiger chased Chandar out of the forest.

His false kingdom ended in a single moment.

Chandar ran away in fear and shame. The respect and power he had enjoyed disappeared forever.

The animals returned to their normal lives, wiser than before.
